about kim candice
Kim Candice is a seasoned esthetician with over 40 years of experience, beginning her journey in 1980 as a Medical Assistant to dermatologists. Her personal struggle with acne and exposure to holistic health sparked a lifelong passion for skincare and natural wellness. She became a Licensed Esthetician in 1982 and went on to work internationally in luxury spas across Thailand, Hawaii, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and California.
Her career highlights include teaching skincare and makeup at the John Robert Powers school and serving as an educator for well-known skincare and haircare brands. In 1990, she opened “Skincare by the Sea” in Carmel, CA, known for serving local residents, tourists, and celebrities. Later, she launched “Skintique” in Evergreen, CO, where she began researching non-toxic skincare ingredients.
Now based in Murrieta, CA and Orange Park Acres, Kim offers holistic skincare through her own line, Awaken Skin Care, founded in 2015. She specializes in natural, botanical-based products and invites clients to contact her for personalized skincare consultations.
